A river you come back to

When you paddle the Łupawa for the first time, you see nothing but the river channel – there's no time for anything else. Only the second, third or further time reveals the full range of attractions: extreme thrills go hand in hand with the beauty of the forest stretches. Where else will you paddle so close to young swans that they still fit in the nest?

A river of alternative routes

Each time you paddle here, you notice new routes to the finish. Watch out – if you can get lost on a river, it's right here! The frequent feeling of being „at a crossroads" comes from the abundance of wooded islets in the channel, which heighten the sense of communing with wild nature. That's why on this section it's worth sticking with the group and knowing the route.

Who is this section of the Łupawa for?

  • for experienced paddlers who enjoy strong, numerous rapids and reading the water,
  • fallen trees, a few portages and a labyrinth of wooded islets – full concentration,
  • the reward is wild, forest landscapes and a sense of oneness with nature,
  • the minimum group is 10 people – it's a route best paddled with a well-coordinated team.
