A forest section of the Słupia from Soszyca to Gołębia Góra is an option for people who already have their first experiences on the water behind them and want to try something more natural. The route combines wild nature, a gently brisk current, natural obstacles and the true atmosphere of a forest river, while still remaining accessible to paddlers after 2–3 trips.
It's a very good choice for those who want to step up a level, feel more excitement than on a calm lake or an easy river, and see what a real adventure on the Słupia looks like.

The White-Tailed Eagle Trail is a section of the Słupia for people who want to take the next step after their first trips. The route is more natural, more forested and gives clearly more excitement than a calm river or a lake.
Right from the start in Soszyca you can feel the atmosphere of wild nature, silence and real contact with the river. It's a very good choice for those who want to try their first more adventurous trip, but without going into really difficult sections.
The expedition begins in Soszyca, on the edge of an exceptionally valuable natural area – the Słupia Valley Landscape Park. From the very first minutes you can feel this won't be an ordinary trip. The river leads through entirely forested terrain, and silence, the scent of the forest and the natural rhythm of nature dominate all around.
Once on the water, the Słupia shows its more natural character. The channel is narrower, the current gently brisk, and the river meanders through the forest, creating a route that requires attention but at the same time gives huge satisfaction from paddling. The kayak often carries itself, making the trip dynamic and enjoyable.
Natural log jams and obstacles appear along the route, which are not extreme in character, but teach manoeuvring, choosing your line and a better feel for the river. It's a very good choice for people who want to try their first more technical trip, but without going into really difficult sections.
On this section of the Słupia, nature plays absolutely the leading role. A green tunnel of trees, shaded bends, clean water and no crowds make it a few hours of a real reset. For many participants it's right here that a true fascination with log-jam kayaking begins.
The last stretch leads all the way to Gołębia Góra, where the trip ends. It's a good place to end the day without rushing, catch your breath for a moment and – if you feel like it – organise a bonfire at the finish.
It's a route rather for people who already have 2–3 trips behind them and want to try a more natural river with light obstacles.
Yes. It's one of the characteristic features of this route. The obstacles, however, are most often natural log jams that can be passed with the right manoeuvre or by ducking down in the kayak.
Yes. For many people it's a very good moment to try a single kayak for the first time and feel more control over their line.
Most often about 4 hours, depending on the water level, the pace of paddling and the number of stops along the way.
Yes. At the finish there are two public bonfire spots on the right-hand side – before the bridge and after the bridge. They are free, but without the option of reservation or exclusivity.
